Who we are

About Us

McGraw Electric is a family ran business that was founded by James Lloyd McGraw Jr. Guy and Vanesa took over the business in 2010. We ran the business part time for several years and finally went full time in 2017. We currently have 5 wonderful employees who are dedicated to offering high quality electrical solutions at an affordable price. Guy has formerly served as the Vice President of the Moore County Home builders association and was the 2019 Associate of the year. He currently serves as a Pinebluff Town Commissioner and also went back on the Moore County Home builders Board as a Director and is dedicated to serving his community and his industry. Vanesa teaches at Aberdeen Elementary and helps with scheduling and the books all while caring for our wonderful children (Brody 15, Tucker 13, Rhylen 10, and Evaley at 8 years old).

2010

Guy and Vanesa took over the business in 2010.

2017

We ran the business part time for several years and finally went full time in 2017.

2019

Guy has formerly served as the Vice President of the Moore County Home builders association and was the 2019 Associate of the year.

Became a Local Elected official

On November 5th 2019, Guy was honored to be elected to as a town commissioner of the town of Pinebluff. Giving back to the community is very important to him.

Elected as a Director 2021-2024

Elected as a Director of the Moore County Home Builders association. Supporting the Industry's that support our company and the many homeowners in Moore county is such important work and I am honored to help.

2020 Best of the Pines Nominee

Honored with third place in the Best of the Pines competition. For a relatively small company this is such a great honor.

2021 Best of the Pines Nominee

Honored to be the second place electrical company in Moore county. Once again for a relatively small company this is a Huge honor!

2022 Best of the Pines Nominee

Results are official once again thanks to our wonderful customers we have placed in the top three! We are so proud of our second place this year. I cant say enough about how proud I am of our small but mighty team!
